Living on a very small plot, the story is concise and focused in its lesson. Almost every sentence supports the lesson. The rest of the pages weave the story into the lesson. It starts out with a purposeful title. The first page gives a clear lesson with its illustration fully supporting the lesson. We still need details, so the story fills in the reasons for the lesson. The second page clearly brings up mama's disgust for drips which explains the need for the lesson. The third page shows a sensible thoughtful and kind little Panda. He's in a hurry, but he'll do it right for mama. The fourth page is the great experiential lesson. It is also the climax of the story. It's funny, but serious while describing as little as possible. On the fifth page, mama shows up again. This time, with her hands on her hips, she announces some maybe-not-so-newly-acquired knowledge. It's all over on the sixth page. Our little Panda concludes the lesson without directing the lesson straight at th! e reader. Everyone is happy. The way the story teaches the lesson is great. It is clear and entertaining and even humorous. There is no woman (married or single) who would not want a copy of it in her home. Time to get started keeping those bathrooms cleaner!! Very nice quality children's board book, and well worth the price!
